Awe
Awe is a phenomenon that occurs when you see something that makes you realize that there are some things that are so big or complex that you can’t fully wrap your head around it. Experiencing awe forces your mind to expand and appreciate the hugeness of the universe.
When individuals encounter something that cannot be reduced to pre-existing elements
in a given schema, they must ‘accommodate,’ expanding that framework to take new information into account.
